About the artist
Beth always had a flare for art at a young age and it was her favourite subject at school. In 2008 she decided to study art and design at North Devon college and took a liking to ceramics. Leaving college in 2010 with a merit, she was undecided whether to take her new qualification to university. Beth always had an affinity for animals, having grown up with many pets and going horse riding at weekends, eventually she decided to apply for a job on a farm to fulfil her need to be around animals. In 2011 she began her career as a relief milker.

In 2016, Beth started painting as a hobby, and when a friend commissioned her to paint her horses she decided to pursue painting peoples pets as a side earner. When her art became quite popular in November 2016, she started up her business selling bespoke artworks painted with acrylics on canvas. In 2017 she moved on to using coloured pencils and in 2019 began to dabble with Panpastels. Finally in 2020 she began using pastel pencils.

In March 2020 Beth gave up her farm work fully to pursue her career as a pet portrait artist. She is now teaching 1:1 lessons and workshops alongside drawing commissions.
